Diamond Crinkled Spiral Medallion
The Crinkled Spiral Medallion is part of my 2024 Crinkled Spiral Collection celebrating the third anniversary of Lori Aks Jewelry. The Crinkled Spiral motif is a symbol for personal growth and discovery. I keep coming back to the crinkled texture in my pieces and I think it adds depth and dimension visually and shows that the process of self discovery is full of twists and turns.
This medallion was hand fabricated from recycled silver in a painstaking process of hammering and rolling the metal. The design was achieved with crinkled wire to create a substantial heirloom piece that will layer beautifully with charms. I’ve hand set a 2mm natural salt and pepper diamond for a little treasure at the center of the spiral.
The finish is oxidized with brushed texture and raised bright silver highlights. An 18” oxidized sterling silver crinkled chain with hinged charm attachment is included with the medallion. The hinge pushes inward to keep your jewelry secure. You can easily layer additional charms to compliment the medallion.
