September
Summer vacation seems long ago as the busy month of September got into full swing. On September 1st I was thrilled to see my article on how to create open wire forms with gemstones published in Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine. This beautiful magazine has amazing photos and I am so honored that they asked me to write an article about making my jewelry. Click here to get your issue or pick it up at Barnes and Nobles near you. After floating on air for a minute I got in gear to prepare for Arts and Cars Festival in Summit NJ on September 18th. I don’t like to leave anything to chance, so I did a backyard practice of my booth set up the week before. It was great fun to plan how to display the collections with some storytelling. Of course, since it was Arts and Cars I did a special focus on the Fordite collection with its auto paint origin. Because the Fordite collection was displayed with one of my vintage Texaco collector trucks, I got a lot of people interested in what was going on in my booth! I enjoyed explaining where Fordite comes from and people connected with this bit of automotive history. With the show behind me I am taking a little break to enjoy the jewish holidays with my family in Los Angeles. Enjoying the relationships in my family is the inspiration behind the next collection debuting this fall called Secure Attachment. This collection brings together 5 forms in a collection of earrings, bracelets and necklaces with gemstones. I have been working on this all year and will be ready to drop the collection on my website very soon. These pieces will accompany me at my next in person event in November. What I really love about this collection is how it will style together with pieces from all my collections.
